Dayton Air Show
2024 Dayton Air Show
Every year Centerville Football program members have the opportunity to volunteer to work at the Dayton Air Show to earn money for our program. This is a great way to earn money to support Centerville Football while getting to watch one of the best air shows in the country for free. Volunteers will be stationed in an air conditioned chalet and will be responsible for serving food and drinks to the patrons in attendance. There is minimal work involved and volunteers will also be fed during their shift. This is truly a great opportunity to watch the Dayton Air Show, contribute to a great cause, and support Centerville Football. It's truly a win-win-win for all involved!
Dayton Air Show Volunteer Details
First and foremost, thank you for your participation in the 2024 Dayton Air Show. You will be working in the corporate chalet area which is highly profiled, and it is imperative to have pristine service in these areas. Chef’s Choice Catering is an off-premise catering company which is a division of the Kroger Company who also is a proud sponsor of the Air Show.
Show dates are June 22nd and the 23rd.
We ask that everyone commits to one or both days. Shift hours are approximately 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
An optional staff meeting will be held on Thursday 6/21 at 5:00pm. Staff should report to the Dayton Airport Expo Center at 3900 McCauley Drive. You will be escorted back to the corporate chalet area by a member of Chef’s Choice Catering. Please be patient as it takes some time to get everyone’s vehicle back to the secured area. At this time credentials and
shirts will be distributed.
PLEASE ARRIVE IN LOT (C) AT 8:30 am
On site parking for vendors and staff is located off North Dixie Dr. in lot C. This lot can be difficult to find. Once you pass Wright Drive and McCauley Dr. this lot is the next gravel drive you come to on the left-hand side of the road. This drive winds through a wooded area. Once you park your car you'll need to walk to the back of the lot where you see a guard stationed; this is where we will pick you up on golf carts and shuttle you back to the secured area. Please be patient, this takes time!
