6\'4", 270 pound Senior Offensive Lineman Jake Feldmeyer has verbally committed to continue his football playing career at the University of Illinois next fall, becoming the first player in school history to commit to the Illini.

He has started for the Elks the past two years and is a team captain this season.

He chose Illinois over offers from Akron, Ball State, Connecticut, Eastern Michigan, Kent, and Miami, Ohio.
