Centerville head football coach Ron Ullery is proud to announce this year’s edition of the Centerville High School Football Camp.

This year’s camp will be staffed by Coach Ullery, his staff of assistant coaches, and players from the Varsity football team.

The camp is held in mid-July at the Centerville High School’s football stadium. Camp begins daily at 9:30 a.m. and will let out at noon.

All who will be entering the grades 1-8 this year are welcome to attend.

Sign-ups will be held on the Monday of camp week from 8:30-9:20 a.m. at the locker room entrance. Shorts, T-shirt, helmet (if you have one), cleats and/or gym shoes (depending on weather conditions) are all to be brought by campers.

Participants are expected to improve in: ball handling, blocking techniques, open field running, passing and receiving, and agility and will learn proper techniques in tackling, punting, and kicking.

This is a non contact camp, however, helmets must be worn at all times during activities. Campers should bring a helmet. If you are unable to acquire one from your team, a limited number of helmets will be available at the stadium.

The camp consist of specialized training tor more advanced campers, active participation on the field, chalkboard instruction by coaching staff, and film of professional, college, and Centerville High School Football games.

The cost of this year’s camp is $55.00 and includes an official camp t-shirt but the cost for those who choose to pay prior to the specified deadline.
